The shortlist for the 66th Evening Standard Theatre Awards has been announced and it’s more good news for Trafalgar Entertainment’s smash-hit production of Anything Goes at the Barbican Theatre.
The record-breaking show has been nominated in the category of Best Musical, and Broadway and West End royalty Sutton Foster has received a nomination in the category of Best Musical Performance.
Starring Sutton Foster, Robert Lindsay, Felicity Kendal and Gary Wilmot, Anything Goes was a runaway hit during its 15-week sell-out run at the Barbican Theatre in 2021.
The award-winning production then returned for a spring 2022 UK Tour followed by a second summer season at The Barbican along with a brand-new cast consisting of Kerry Ellis, Simon Callow, Dennis Lawson, and Bonnie Langford.
The winners of the Evening Standard Theatre Awards will be celebrated at a private dinner on November 20 and announced in the paper the following day.
