Trafalgar Theatre was bathed in red light recently (during the week 15-19 March) in support of the We Make Events Light it in Red campaign to mark the one year anniversary of theatre closures due to COVID.
TE’s Joint CEO, Dame Rosemary Squire, said: “Trafalgar Theatre stands in solidarity with the live events industry and all those who have suffered in the pandemic. We want to send a message of hope and support to workers and their families, and let them know that they are very much valued and cherished. We will be back – with Jersey Boys in the summer.”
Trafalgar Theatre will re-open its doors in the summer following a multi-million pound renovation. The beloved Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical Jersey Boys will be the first major musical production to play at the theatre when it returns to London’s West End.
