Over the summer, followers on the Trafalgar Studios Twitter feed have been voting fiercely for their favourite Studio 1 show of the last ten years.

The Grand Final featured some big hitters including Richard III starring Martin Freeman (2014), The Ruling Class starring James McAvoy (2015), our very own co-production of The Grinning Man by Tom Morris (2017) and drag panto Cinderella (2019).

However, only one show had enough of a loyal following to carry it all the way to victory! Congratulations to Tuck Shop’s Cinderella that claimed the Twitter Tiara with a staggering 52% of the final vote!

Cinders got a fierce and funny drag makeover thanks to an hilarious retelling of the classic panto starring Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Baga Chipz as the Wicked Stepmother. Cinderella opened at Trafalgar Studios on 15 December 2019 and became a big festive hit with audiences.
