Trafalgar Studios is featured on ITV London News this week in support of Captioning Awareness Week (11-17 November) as venue staff and StageText prepare for a captioned performance of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg.

Captioning Awareness Week is a national campaign that sees theatres, museums, and galleries holding captioned and live subtitled events in order to promote access, find new audiences, and improve people’s experiences within the arts.

StageText is a registered charity which provides captioning and live subtitling services to theatres and other arts venues to make their activities accessible to people who are d/Deaf, deafened or hard of hearing.

Trafalgar Studios is an access friendly venue, offering a number of opportunities for access patrons. The majority of productions playing at the venue include accessible performances.

The venue runs an Access Membership Scheme and has a dedicated Access Champion to help customers with enquiries and bookings.
