The UK Pantomime Association has today announced that Imagine Theatre, part of leading global live entertainment company Trafalgar Entertainment, has been nominated for eight awards for their 2023-2024 season.
The nominations are:
Best Pantomime (500-900 seats) – Cinderella, Belgrade Theatre Coventry in association with Imagine Theatre
Best Pantomime (900+ seats) – Sleeping Beauty, Hexagon, Reading
Best Comic – John Evans: Peter Pan, Venue Cymru, Llandudno
Best Sisters – Iain Lauchlan and Andy Hockley: Cinderella, Belgrade Theatre Coventry in association with Imagine Theatre
Best Direction – Steve Boden: Sleeping Beauty, Hexagon, Reading
Best Lighting – Jamie Corbidge: Cinderella, Swansea Grand Theatre
Best Script – Eric Potts and Steven Wren: Sleeping Beauty, Eden Court, Inverness
Best Sound Design – Stephen Rickard: Cinderella, Rotherham Civic Theatre

Proud to be a Carbon Neutral company, each year, Imagine Theatre works on over forty pantomime productions across the United Kingdom, supplying everything from a single pantomime prop through to the staging of entire productions. Over 500 actors, technicians, directors, designers, choreographers, musicians, and stage management work for Imagine during the Christmas period using their skills to create the very best pantomimes possible.
This year Imagine Theatre are producing, co-producing, or working in association with pantomimes in Carmarthen, Coventry, Crewe, Fareham, Glasgow, Hayes, High Wycombe, Halifax, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Leamington Spa, Llandudno, Leicester, Reading, Rotherham, Stafford, Swansea, Swindon and Wolverhampton. They will also be touring their smash hit series of Santa shows again over Christmas 2024. This Christmas Imagine Theatre open their 243rd professional pantomime production.
The Pantomime Awards 2024 in association with Stagecoach Performing Arts, will take place on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 7pm at Trafalgar’s G Live venue in Guildford.
