The UK Pantomime Association has announced that the innovative theatre production company Imagine Theatre, has been nominated for ELEVEN UK Pantomime Association Awards across ten categories for their 2024/25 season.
The nominations include:
- Best Script – Eric Potts: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Big Top at Ayrshire Athletics Arena, Kilmarnock
- Best Choreography – Lauren Stroud: Aladdin, Beck Theatre, Hayes
- Best Lighting – Jamie Corbidge: Aladdin, Wycombe Swan, High Wycombe
- Best Sound – Kate Harvey: Jack and the Beanstalk, Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford
- Best Comic – Ben Goffe: Cinderella, Wyvern Theatre, Swindon
- Best Sisters – Eleanor Burke and Sophie Hirst: Cinderella, Wyvern Theatre, Swindon and Gareth Mitchell and Garnon Davies: Cinderella, Fareham Live
- Best Ensemble – Nikki Schofield, Alanna Panditaratne, James Everest, Ariel Nyandoro, Jacob Stebbings: Peter Pan, Victoria Theatre, Halifax
- Best Newcomer to Pantomime – Colum Findlay: Jack and the Beanstalk, Eden Court, Inverness
- Best Newcomer to Industry – Lois Brook: Dick Whittington, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry
- Best Pantomime (Over 900) Aladdin, Wycombe Swan Theatre, High Wycombe
Building on a legacy of family entertainment stretching back over 25 years, Imagine Theatre, led by husband-and-wife team Steve and Sarah Boden and supported by an amazing team of professionals, have produced more than 260 professional pantomimes and multiple children’s theatre tours. The recent season saw over 600,000 theatre-goers whisked away to an Imagine pantomime and a magical land full of song, dance and laughter.
The star-studded casts included Vernon Kay, Scott Mills, Sydnie Christmas, AJ and Curtis Pritchard, Jenny Ryan, and Justin Fletcher and not one, but two RuPaul’s Drag Race UK legends, La Voix and Divina De Campo. On stage alongside them were over 500 additional talented performers, with some of the best dames and comics in the business and over 400 local children.

Each year Imagine Theatre facilitate productions in more than 50 venues across the UK. This year, they are producing, co-producing or working in association with pantomimes in Carmarthen, Coventry, Crewe, Dartford, Fareham, Glasgow, Hertford, High Wycombe, Halifax, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Leamington Spa, Llandudno, Leicester, Reading, Stafford, Swansea, Swindon and Wolverhampton.
