Students from Stagecoach Performing Arts (part of Trafalgar Entertainment) were part of the match day entertainment line-up for the Premiership champions Saracens, at London Stadium at the weekend (23 March), as they took on their biggest rival, South West London Club, Harlequins.
For the second year running, over 350 students rehearsed tirelessly to provide entertainment to the crowd to an audience of over 40,000 people. They performed three songs during the match including a Queen medley.
Matt Clark, Head of Production and Performance at Stagecoach Performing Arts, said: “The partnership we have with Saracens is great for our network of schools and gives our students the opportunity to perform in front of a huge crowd, creating an incredible atmosphere at this spectacular arena. Our students were thrilled to get on the pitch and sing their hearts out as the rivalry between the two clubs unfolded.”
Sarah Kelly, CEO of Stagecoach Performing Arts, said: “Performing in front of such a large crowd is an amazing opportunity for students in their formative years, and will help them build their confidence and performing abilities, cultivating a real Creative Courage for Life.”
